Our experiences and activities concierge will curate something that is just right for you whether you're seeking a tranquil getaway, an action-packed holiday or a little bit of both.
Monte da Moita Nova Activities
To make the most of your stay we've curated a small selection of activities, both at Monte da Moita Nova and in the local area for you to choose from. In addition to these suggestions, an array of activities catering to diverse interests is available upon prior request and reservation. Options range from serene pursuits such as massages, yoga, and reiki, to more adventurous ones like surf lessons, boat rides, scuba diving, and canoeing. Our local guide, Finn, will be on hand to arrange the most suitable activities according to your preferences. She can ensure you have a personalized holiday experience. Transportation and picnics can also be arranged for all local activities. Some of the activities are paid and costs vary.

Experience Programs
How would you best enjoy engaging with your surroundings? Our varied immersive 3-5 day programs are led by our experienced local guide, Finn. An avid outdoorswoman, naturalist and connoisseur of all things local, she is happy to lead programs in English, German, and Portuguese.
Walk & Discover
A journey to discover the essence of the Southwest Alentejo. From the rolling hills to the Atlantic Ocean, get lost in our rich natural heritage. Experience the pace of a different lifestyle through relaxed walks and visits, tasting typical flavors, new wines and getting familiar with our crafts along the way. Let yourself be part of it; let the sun, the Ocean, the rivers and the people relax and recharge you.
3-5 day itinerary includes:
- 12km Hike: Discover the Natural Park of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast.
- 15km Hike: Walk through a typical Alentejo landscape of cork trees and explore the flora and fauna of a beautiful river stream ecosystem.
- Outdoor picnic: Savoring local products is discovering delicious traditions. Every ceramic plate and wooden spoon tells a story as do the typical bread, cheese, olive oil and other tasty treats.
- Seafood Experience: After hiking on the coast there is nothing better than getting to taste the best of the local fisherman’s catch of the day.
- Wine Tasting: We will visit an innovative sustainable family project offering us a delicious tasting of their wines accompanied by other local goodies.

Through simple grounding techniques such as enjoying the present moment in the wonders of nature you will reconnect with people, the natural world and to yourself. - 8 km Circular hike
